about rpccm

Redeemer Presbyterian Church College Ministry desires to extend a passion for knowing and delighting in the glory of God among the diversity of people represented at Coastal College of Georgia. We desire to see them become faithful growing believers in the Lord Jesus Christ and faithful members of the community of believers at Redeemer Presbyterian Church. Our goal is to encourage college students to long for God in worship around His word and sacraments while looking for God to lead them through the nurture and discipline of His church.  We long to see students who live for His glory by praising Him, thanking Him, trusting Him, and doing His will in every area of their lives each day.
goals:
  1. Meet with college students weekly for Bible Study, evangelism and discipleship.
2. Begin a Bible Study on the campus of CCG that will lead to regular attendance at RPC.
         3. Lead members of Redeemer to serve by taking college students into the care of their homes for the purpose of discipleship and prayer.  The result of these relationships will teach college students to be husbands, wives, parents, single adults and faithful church members for God's glory.
Invite students for a meal once a month.
Invite a student on a family outing.
Commit to pray for students specifically by name.
Biblical goals:
1. Students will develop a Biblical understanding of scripture, the Church, worship and prayer. This understanding will lead them to  become effective witnesses through evangelism, speaking and serving.
                       2. Engage 50 students in a full-length gospel conversation challenging them to trust in Christ alone for salvation.
              3. See 10 students (or more) attending a weekly Bible study on campus.
4. Employ and supervise one college student for a summer internship with RPC.
    5. Engage three (or more) RPC families in regular ministry in the lives of three (or more) college students.
But as for you, continue in what you have learned and firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness. That the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.
2 Timothy 3:14-17
